Harmonious architecture with nature at the Sun Group Cat Ba project.
Green architecture and planning
Located in the midst of Cat Ba Island, which is both a natural heritage site and a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, the Central Bay City project on Green Island is developed by Sun Group under the first Net Zero tourism destination model in Vietnam.
At the event introducing the Xanh Sky apartment line of the project, 95% of the first batch of listings have been claimed. Many investors indicated that one of the factors influencing their decision to invest was the green architecture and planning.

With its 'mountain backing and sea facing' position, offering views of the blue sea and Lan Ha Bay, Green Island has been designed and planned to maximally exploit its feng shui advantages. The gently terraced design towards the sea ensures that every location within the project offers a sea view. The overall planning is based on the 'minh đường tụ thủy' (bright direction gathering water) concept and the 'Four Symbols' (Tả Thanh Long, Hữu Bạch Hổ, Tiền Chu Tước, Hậu Huyền Vũ) according to Eastern feng shui beliefs, with the mountains at the back and the sea in front, bringing lasting blessings, luck, and prosperity.
The investor has stated that 60% of the project area is dedicated to green landscapes and public amenities, creating an ecological space that harmonizes with the natural scenery of Lan Ha Bay. Among these features is a seawater desalination plant with a capacity of up to 1,500 m3 per day, with a total investment of up to 50 billion VND.
'The architecture of Green Island harmoniously combines modern elements with Eastern aesthetics. The high-rise apartment buildings at The Xanh are designed to optimize sea views, providing a resort-like experience,' said Mr. Tong Thanh Chung, Chairman of the Board of Directors at Sky Realty.

The design of each Xanh Sky apartment allows owners to enjoy the beauty of mountains and the ocean with spacious balconies and large floor-to-ceiling windows that invite in light and sea breezes. The '4-in-1' view includes Lan Ha Bay, green forests, internal parks, and spectacular fireworks, creating a living space that feels like a daily resort.
The project's chief architect shared that the apartment design enables ecological air circulation throughout every corner while utilizing natural energy inspired by the ocean. The interiors are carefully selected, offering a living space that is both elegant and cozy.
Meanwhile, the low-rise Xanh Boutique area is inspired by the seven traditional crafts (ceramics, woodwork, textile, blacksmithing, fishing, joy, and prosperity) with unique architecture and large global entertainment and shopping centers, creating diverse and uniquely designed commercial streets that attract tourists.

Living green amidst nature
Not just a place to live, the Central Bay City on Green Island also opens up a lifestyle that harmonizes with nature for residents and visitors. Entering the Xanh Sky apartments in the heart of Cát Bà, residents are immersed in the green shades of mountains and sky. From the wide-open windows, residents can easily enjoy the atmosphere of fireworks nights, the VUI-Fest market, and the beach of Các Bà.
The chief architect of the project commented that the green aspect is not only reflected in the architecture but also in the ecosystem of amenities that cater to modern living and high-end leisure. This includes a complex of four cool internal parks inspired by the 'Four Symbols' – Thanh Long, Bạch Hổ, Chu Tước, Huyền Vũ. The centerpiece is Central Park, featuring amenities such as a green experience street, a symbolic waterfall, fountains, and sunken lawns... leading directly to the nearly one-kilometer-long Các Bà beach, the largest on the island.
Residents can immerse themselves in Các Bà beach, enjoy an art show combined with fireworks titled 'Symphony of Green Island' funded by Sun Group with nearly 200 billion VND right within the project area, or venture further to experience yacht cruising on the bay and trekking in Cat Ba National Park...

When partnering with Sun Group to outline the project’s architecture, the 'big player' Aedas hopes that this design will not only be a symbol but also celebrate local cultural values, connecting the past with the present in a space harmonious with nature.
'The Central Bay City on Green Island will be a place where people find tranquility amidst the vast nature and luxury in a modern environment. This location promises to be a sustainable profit-generating destination for investors,' said the developer.
