Da Nang plans to complete nearly 5,000 social housing units by 2026.
Da Nang city aims to complete nearly 29,000 social housing units by 2030, with nearly 5,000 units already completed this year.
At the conference summarizing the work of 2025, the Director of the Da Nang Department of Construction, Nguyen Ha Nam, stated that the locality has achieved many positive results in the development of social housing.
From 2005 to 2024, the city completed and put into use approximately 18,500 units. Of these, more than 11,000 units were invested from the city budget with a total cost of about 3,500 billion VND. This makes Da Nang the locality with the highest number of social housing units invested with budget capital in the country.
Last year, the city also completed 5 projects with more than 2,900 units, exceeding the target by about 8%. In addition, there are 38 projects with a total of more than 34,400 units currently under implementation. Some ongoing projects include the A2-4 Ngu Hanh Son area (830 units), and housing for workers in the Hoa Cam industrial zone (785 units)...
Following the merger with Quang Nam province on July 1st, the new city aims to complete nearly 29,000 social housing units by 2030. This year, Da Nang expects to complete nearly 5,000 units, double last year's number, equivalent to 23% of the current total supply.
To achieve this goal, the Director of the Da Nang Department of Construction stated that the city will include social housing projects in the "green channel" to provide support, resolve obstacles, and review and supplement suitable land resources..jpg)

Currently, some projects being offered for sale in Da Nang are priced at around 16 million VND per square meter. For example, the social housing project on plot B4-2 in the Bau Tram Lakeside green urban area (Hai Van ward) is priced from approximately 714 million to over 1.1 billion VND per unit. Similarly, the An Trung 2 low-income housing project (An Hai ward) is being offered at over 16.2 million VND per square meter, equivalent to over 820 million to over 1 billion VND per unit.
